I no, rite?
“I no rite” and “idd” somehow became my most used words lately. I’m surprised at how many don’t know what it means, makes me wonder where I got it to begin with.. But anyway, to avoid continued confusion, here’s what it means (yeah I should probably stop using it I guess):
I no rite = I know right Idd = Indeed

– Day9
Worth quoting even more is what he tells us at the end of this brilliant video, what his clearly really wise grampa taught him;
“The most important thing to do in life is laugh. To laugh a lot. Not to be the funniest, but to just laugh as much as you can. Don’t even look for a...
Turn the Tide
Just rewatched the Swedish movie “Jag saknar dig” (I miss you). I saw it for the first time on cinema in autumn last year, and by then I’d actually been looking forward to it for quite some time which is unusual when it comes to me and Swedish movies.
At the beginning I was so disappointed I actually considered leaving the cinema, but by the end it had successfully won me over...
bigsislittlebro asked: When you were young, did you want the job you have now? Or did you want something else?
Hey, hi, hello
Dug up one of Daniel Gardner’s old vlogs from 2007, where he talks about the awkward lack of guidelines we have to fall back on when it comes to choosing appropriate ways of greeting people.
I suspect many people can relate to this, I think especially here in Sweden. Swedes are probably the most socially awkward people in whole Europe, and we know it. We write about it in our blogs and...

– Had to quote my colleague on parts of his weekly poker friday intro e-mail, since I strongly sense he based parts of this character on me. You know, the insanity, the obsession with pool and poker, and my threats of what happens if we don’t get our weekly poker.. The kind gaze and beautiful...
Jokester
I have many memories with my ol’ female friends from elementary school where we’d all hang out together and share long, wonderful moments full of laughter; maybe around the lunch table, or in that hidden section in the library, or in the corridor outside of our classrooms. Attached to these memories are unfortunately also the memories of how whenever I threw my own attempts to be funny...

Pool upgrade
Had the pleasure of spending my saturday at work (off the clock!) with some of my brilliant collegues, freshing up our favourite table.

Keep it real
Usually I don’t mind the articles LinkedIn suggests for me in my inbox, but the first headline “I Don’t Understand What Anyone Is Saying Anymore” by Dan Pallotta caught my attention well enough for me to actually read the three “teaser”-lines included in the e-mail, which then caught my attention well enough for me to actually click the link and read the whole...
Confessions of a Manipulative Hypocrite
5dollarshake:
If you would or already do support a charity, which one gets your help? I’ll be honest, I care more for animals and nature than people, so that makes the list a lot shorter in my case. I believe we should defend the rights of those who cannot speak for themselves. Not to mention we’re the ones who brought it all onto them …
Still I’m interested to see what people give money for....

Skyr Sweden
Tasted a couple of these this week. Icelandic skyr have finally arrived on the Swedish food market! Due to the sweet design of the cups I really thought they were going to be awesome, but I have to say I’m disappointed. It’s been a while since I ate Skyr, and it may be that I’ve completely forgot what it taste like when it’s not drowned in sugar, but I feel they’ve...
Them catz
Stumbled over my old flickr-account and found these from April, 2009.
Not in Love
When I woke up that particular morning; that Saturday morning on the 15th of October, I had no idea what was going to go down. I had no idea that this day was going to be any more different than any of my other Saturdays for the past four years. I had no idea that I was going to turn everything upside down and leave it all behind me. All I did know was that this nagging voice I’d had for a very,...
A is for Awesome
Ah, Easy A. I’ve been meaning to write about this movie for quite some time, but the thing is - there are not enough words in the world to describe how amazing it is. It was probably my sixth time watching it yesterday.
To keep the story short it’s about a girl that accidentally get a really bad reputation that spins out of control, and her humourus way of dealing with it. I can...

Labyrinth (1986)
Taking the time to rewatch The Labyrinth from 1986, starring the very beautiful Jennifer Connelly, and that David Bowie-character. My first time watching it probably doesn’t really count though, I fell asleep and woke up only a few minutes here and there.
I don’t know what to make of it, I mean which age group is it really for!? It seem to be a story for children, but if I’d...

Team Community
.. Now to something more exciting! I found out this week I’ve won two people over to team-Community. Two really, really awesome and important people, so now I feel I’ve accomplished something huge, something amazing - done some real good in the world. I can now retire my need to convince people that this show is amazing. Well, at least for a little while.
You see, the challenge when...
Sucker punch sucks
Just finished watching Sucker Punch. Started watching it months ago, but didn’t have the patience to watch the whole thing then. I started over from the beginning today, and I must say it was a painful process to watch it until the end. Yes, clearly I’m not a big fan of this one!
The girls are real pretty, but the rest.. Well, I said it - painful. There was absolutely no excitement...
Queen of Crazy
Had the most brilliant Friday in a long time. I started off by making a clean win in pool against my ol’ friend DragonSpawn. The win tasted extra sweet since he just before went on and on about how I usually don’t win clean games, but that it’s usually his own doing as he accidentally shoots down the eight-ball. What made the win necessary, was my cocky responses to all his...
Peace of mind
Goals (January 2011): “Marriage, children and house”. State of mind: “God, I’m 24, I’m so old, I have to hurry”.
Goals (October 2011): “Beat J in pool before 1st of November”. State of mind: “I’m 25, I’m so young, I have all my life a head of me”.

The Awful Truth About Keendra Blaze →
I decided to start a blogspot-blog again and start treating tumblr as what it is - a micro blog. Here I reveal my darkest secret, talk about my history as a gamer and also why I decided to study game programming since it’s so popular to question me. Read and weep; if you don’t bother to, then don’t bother to question me ever again ;-)

Teeworlds-day is CANCELED!
So I was going to post this awfully, ridiculously enthusiastic post about how we all were going to play Teeworlds together on sunday - but since I totally didn’t get the response I expected when I spread my brilliant plan to people, there will be no god damn Teeworlds-sunday.
This morning something just reminded me of this brilliant game, that a couple of years ago made me laugh so hard I...
You're Out of Your Mind, Maggie
Saw a glimpse of “You’re out of your mind, Maggie” today when visited Daniel’s family and realized it was time to re-see it - so that’s what I’m doing now! Currently the one from ‘80 (made from material from the series), then ‘79. A wicked sense of humor, that old lady had (Astrid Lindgren).
In love
So in love with my new job. I’ve been there for a week now, and it’s been a week full of meetings, lectures and introductions where I’ve met lots of really cool people! I also got my first (out of two) newbie-task, and is almost done with it. Woho!

Liking World of Warcraft
You know what I love? World of Warcraft. And, I know I’ve gone on and on about the game and spent much time with it lately, but you know what? I am going to keep on doing that until people stop trying to shut me up or change my opinion.
To many people it’s something really ugly to do, play World of Warcraft. It’s not socially acceptable anymore (especially if you are a game dev,...

lf apartment
I’ve underestimated how hard it is to find an apartment in Växjö area. Wherever I’ve moved the past eight years I’ve always found something quick that has been close to school/work and with reasonable size and prizing, but that seems impossible here. All I want is a little room I can use during work days, with some space to cook my meals and a little bathroom, and I don’t...
It's ma b-day
Had an ok b-day. Lunched with Daniel in a restaurant called PM, where they serve really delicious hamburgers with Bearnaise sauce and bacon. After that I went back home to grind reputation, and then I met up Daniel after work and we went to the movies. When we came out the car was locked inside the parking house, apparently it’s appropriate to sell people tickets saying they can have their...
Hating on Facebook games
You know what I hate? Facebook games. Or more specifically, the way they won’t let you continue if you don’t spam your friends with a million different requests.
I rarely play them anymore, but since I’m weak for The Sims (don’t judge me) I really wanted to try out Sims Social. Now I really have to struggle to move forward. To be able to continue to develop my skills I...
